Ridge Runners Earn 10-4 Home Win
Eagle Rock parlayed a decent outing from starter Willie Borrero into a solid win over the Kansas City Tornadoes. The final score was 10-4. The win puts Eagle Rock at 1-1.

The Ridge Runners got a big hit from third baseman Bryan LeRette. Facing Kansas City pitcher Allan Goodwin in the bottom of the sixth, LeRette pounded a 3-run home run to left-center. His 1st home run of the season put the Ridge Runners ahead, 8-0.

"Willie throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Eagle Rock manager Paco Berroa.
