The Pasadena Bumblebees downed the Minneapolis Freeze, 2-0, at The Ice Box. Stellar pitching by George White had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who leads the TAAA in wins with 16, handcuffed his opponent all game. Hicham Munoru recorded his 10th save for Pasadena. The second-place Bumblebees go to 83-72.

White, a native of Attleboro, Massachusetts, was dealing all game. He kept Minneapolis hitters off-balance, while giving the Bumblebees 7 quality innings. White threw 96 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 6.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said White.
