San Francisco turned a fine outing from starter Greg Hobson into a victory over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Field de Los Layendas. The final score was 2-0. Josh Christie, who is tied for 2nd in the TML in saves with 27, earned the save for San Francisco. The Earthquakes improved their record to 55-45 by beating Cabo San Lucas.

Hobson, who was born in Santa Elena, Philippines, threw 81 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Hobson.
