The Albany Firebirds topped the Amarillo Armadillos, 12-2, the lion's share of the credit going to center fielder Jose Vasquez. On the day, Vasquez went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 6 for the Firebirds. The winning pitcher was Harry Marella. His record now stands at 5-3.
