Big Day for Schwegler in 7-6 Cowboys Win
The Calgary Cowboys turned back the Anchorage Moose, 7-6, at Cowboys Field. Chris Schwegler, in particular, had a fine performance. He hit 2 home runs. The win went to Matt Daniello in relief, making him now 6-6. Miguel Negrete took the loss for Anchorage. Bill Wolfe finished to wrap up his 26th save.

Had Shawn Kelly not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Kelly hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Cowboys.

"It's still just a game," said Schwegler, "whether you win or lose."

The Cowboys, at 77-74, sit in 6th place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division.
