The Fairfield Flash beat the Memphis Privateers, 8-5, at Privateers Grounds. Fairfield second baseman Hunter Wells had an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. With the win, Fairfield raised its record to 80-69.

Fairfield used the clutch hitting of Nick Frenz to snag the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Flash ahead, 8-5. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
