Kodiaks Win with Late Rally
The Calgary Kodiaks used the hitting of right fielder Cody Pineda to subdue the Pasadena Bumblebees, 9-8. For the game, Pineda went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Calgary pitcher Matt Maxfield earned the win, hiking his record to 5-5. Hicham Munoru suffered the loss. The Kodiaks, at 86-62, have now won 4 straight.

In the bottom of the tenth, with the score tied, Pineda hammered a solo home run to win it for Calgary.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Calgary manager Stanley Harvey.
