Minneapolis designated hitter Josh Flippo had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Flippo was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, even as Joplin beat the Freeze, 10-7. Joplin, at 60-87, sits in last place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division.

Joplin took the lead, 9-7, on Jordan Garrett's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Minneapolis pitcher Mike O'Neil in the bottom of the eighth.

"Very good win for our guys," said Garrett.
