Strong Helps Pasadena Cruise to 10-3 Win
The Pasadena Bumblebees took on the Indianapolis Ambition at Ken Griffey Jr. Plaza.

Jason Strong knocked in 6 runs to help Pasadena beat Indianapolis, 10-3. The Alameda, California native tallied 1 single and 2 home runs. Jim Rankin picked up the win, improving his season record to 12-7. He struck out 9 in 5.2 innings. Mike Coker closed it out for Pasadena, earning his 1st save.

With Pasadena leading 6-1 in the top of the eighth, Strong came up to bat against Indianapolis pitcher Caleb Broussard. Strong hit a fastball to center for a grand slam home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Bumblebees on top, 10-1.

"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Strong.

The Bumblebees now own a record of 69-76.
