The Albuquerque Cacti earned a close win over the Baton Rouge Outlaws, thanks in part to Rick Rielly. The Albuquerque right-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Rielly got the win, improving to 2-2. He gave up 7 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The Cacti now own a record of 90-55.

The Cacti got a big at-bat from designated hitter Israel Munoz. For the game, Munoz was 1-4 with a home run. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Albuquerque a 3-2 lead.
