Soggy conditions did not keep Dallas and Seattle from playing their scheduled game.

The Dallas Texans defeated the Seattle Sasquatch, 8-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at Metroplex Park. Justin Mays pulled his weight. The 8-year veteran went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Trevor Bowe earned the win to go to 9-7. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 4 walks and 7 strikeouts in 6 innings of work.

With Dallas leading 2-0 in the bottom of the first, Mays hit a cutter from Travis Reske for a 3-run home run. It was his 23rd home run of the season and put the Texans ahead, 5-0.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Mays said.

The Dallas win streak is now 3 games.
