Acevez Lifts Swallowtails to 7-2 Win
Diego Acevez made an impact in the 7-2 State College win over Madison. Acevez belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. State College pitcher Justin Vasile got the win. He's now 7-12. Brandon Hyde was tagged with the loss. The Swallowtails sit in 4th place in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division with a record of 69-72.

With State College leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Acevez hit a fastball from Brandon Hyde for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Swallowtails ahead, 4-0.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Acevez told the State College Observer.
