The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

Eagle Rock got a decent performance from pitcher David Baxley, but it wasn't enough to beat the Bighorn Bison. Bighorn won the Ram Brewery Ballpark contest, 6-5. Baxley threw 5.2 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. The win brings the Bison to 4-7, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

The Bison were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 19-year old third baseman Chris Crofts landed a big blow. He turned a full count sinker from Bryan Young into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Ram Brewery Ballpark denizens into a frenzy and sent the Bison home with a thrilling 6-5 win.

"This place was rockin'," said Crofts.
