Apples Get One-Run Win at Victoria
The Carmel Apples topped the Victoria Vikings, 4-3, in TML A action at The drakkar. The standout performance belonged to Carmel pitcher and Tyler, Texas, native Kyle Ott. Kyle Ott, who is tied for 10th in the TA in saves with 15, picked up the win in relief. Josh Butler took the loss for Victoria. With the win, the Apples hiked their record to 107-55.

In-gu Harm delivered a big hit for Carmel. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Apples ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

Carmel manager Hi-yuan Pan called it "a good, solid win."
