At Philip Banks Field, the San Antonio River Bandits and Bel Air Princes were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Bel Air Princes defeated the San Antonio River Bandits, 6-4, at Philip Banks Field. Bel Air right fielder Chris Ferris had a superb performance. He was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Rich Blaquiere earned the save for Bel Air, his 18th of the year.

The Princes got a big at-bat from first baseman Todd Barat. For the game, Barat went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Bel Air a 3-1 lead.

Bel Air manager Greg England commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."

The Princes win now puts them at 86-72.
