Elizabeth Town Rallies to 7-5 Win
The Elizabeth Town Thunder trumped the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 7-5, at Billy Mathews Field. Elizabeth Town first baseman Matt Lauritano was terrific. He went 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk. Elizabeth Town reliever Vinny Bustos picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Mark Huffer absorbed the loss. Elizabeth Town is last in the RCL A Dusty Baker Division with a record of 40-118.

Elizabeth Town used the timely hitting of Nolan Blair to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Thunder on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Nice to get this one," said Blair. "We've been scuffling."
