The St. Petersburg Pelicans topped the Elizabeth Town Thunder, 7-4, at Billy Mathews Field. St. Petersburg third baseman Steven Carson was a spark plug for the offense. Jesus Ochoa helped out the St. Petersburg cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher drew 1 walk.
