Blues Rally Late to Nip Bandits
Rich Tooze left his imprint on the 5-4 Memphis win against the Brownsville Bandits. Tooze went 4-4 with a home run, a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2. Memphis reliever Bobby Gottlieb picked up the win, raising his record to 5-4. Victor Delgado was tagged with the loss. The 5th-place Blues hiked their record to 90-66.

Nick Schrock was the walk-off hero for Memphis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Blues designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Both teams played hard," said Memphis manager Mike Williams.
