The Elizabeth Town Thunder and Eugene Emeralds played an entertaining game for Valhalla Summit patrons.

Elizabeth Town Thunder right-hander Josh Jerrett pitched a good game against the Eugene Emeralds at Valhalla Summit, leading his team to victory, 3-2. Jerrett yielded 2 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 4, and struck out 5. His record improves to 4-13. Rod Morin collected save number 18.

The Thunder got a big at-bat from shortstop Chris Chabwera. For the game, Chabwera was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 11th double of the season gave Elizabeth Town a 3-2 lead.
