McLane Jacks Two Home Runs in 15-8 Baltimore Win
The Baltimore Magicians dumped the Carmel Apples, 15-8, in large part due to left fielder Jason McLane. On the day, McLane slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Magicians. Baltimore reliever Manny Carrera picked up the win, while Marty Prado took the loss for Carmel. The losing streak for Carmel has now reached 6 games.

McLane contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Baltimore in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, McLane took a cutter from Marty Prado and stroked the home run to right. His 51st home run of the season allowed the Magicians to leap in front, 3-1.

"If you were looking for a pitchers' duel," said McLane, "this wasn't it."
