Pellot Leads Bison to 11-5 Win Over Millers
The Buffalo Bison beat the Milwaukee Millers, 11-5, at The Mandalore Complex. Buffalo center fielder Danny Pellot had the hot bat. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Jake Nulty, the winning pitcher, improved to 8-1. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 3. With the win over Milwaukee, the Bison improved to 50-47.

With the game tied, 3-3, in the top of the sixth, Pellot had a key at-bat for Buffalo. With the bases loaded, Pellot hit a run-scoring single off Jorge Torres, making the score 4-3, Bison.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Pellot told the Buffalo News. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
