Buffalo center fielder Sam Bridgman picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 5-4. Buffalo reliever Jorge Torres picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Oliver de Leeuw absorbed the loss. Mike Waldrup recorded his 1st save for Buffalo.

Bridgman had a key at-bat for Buffalo in the top of the second. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave Buffalo an early 3-0 lead.

"If we keep winning the close games," Bridgman said, "we'll be in good shape at the end."

Cabo San Lucas, with the loss, is 3-6.
