Bandits Reel-In 3-1 Win Over NoBos
Brownsville and Campo duked it out and the Bandits came out victorious.

Brownsville starter Antonio Barona kept the Campo offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his sinker in leading the Bandits to a 3-1 win. In 6.1 innings, Barona surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. Justin Andes notched his 4th save in 10 chances.

Brownsville needed the clutch hitting of Manuel Salazar to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bandits on top, 3-1. For the game, Salazar had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"This was a tough loss," said Campo manager Adrián Cortés. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."

The win elevated the Bandits to 89-59.
