Sting Get Dramatic 6-5 Win
|
Woodland Park played host to some high drama.
Houston registered a win at Woodland Park by beating the Marshall Lawmen, 6-5. Pitcher Chris Piotrowski was one reason why the Sting triumphed. Houston reliever Tim Wulff picked up the win, upping his record to 4-6. Michel Mercier absorbed the loss.
Jorge Lozada was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Sting catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Lozada said.
The defeat makes Marshall 85-63.
