Knights Drop 11-8 Decision to River Bandits
|
A 4-RBI performance from left fielder Matt Edmondson led the San Antonio River Bandits to a win over the Ocala Knights, 11-8. Arturo Macias snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-1 on the season. Billy Acuna suffered the loss. Justin Walsh recorded the save, his 2nd.
With San Antonio leading 3-0 in the bottom of the third, Edmondson hit a cutter from Carlos Loera for a grand slam home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the River Bandits ahead, 7-0.
"Nice win for us," said Edmondson. "Now we'll go after the next one."
The Knights, now 71-71, have lost 4 straight.
