Eclipse Beat Pioneers, 5-2
The Chicago Eclipse called upon starter Quentin Campbell, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Vancouver Pioneers, 5-2. The winner was Chicago reliever Steve Ferris, now 3-0. The loser was David Snyder. Earning his 5th save of the year was Joe Umlah.

Had Steven Kerbel not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Kerbel hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Eclipse.

"Quentin kept them off-balance, threw a great game for us," said Eclipse manager Zayar Adelabu.

The Eclipse are now 51-46, while the Pioneers fall to 45-51.
