Princes Suffer 7-1 Road Loss
The Memphis Blues defeated the Bel Air Princes, 7-1, in part because of catcher Johnny Rosamilia. Rosamilia was 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Blues. Marty Cordoba picked up the win, lifting his record to 8-6 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 4 in 5 innings, while yielding 1 run. Memphis, at 81-60, sits in 5th place in the TML A Earl Weaver Division.

The Blues benefited from an error in the bottom of the fourth inning. Memphis was leading 2-1 when Francisco Robles hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Memphis in front, 3-1.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Robles told the Memphis Chronicle.
