Indians Squelch Bulldogs Offense in Shutout Win
Elijah West, who is tied for 3rd in the TAA in strikeouts with 199, was terrific for the Wauwatosa Indians in his team's 6-0 triumph over the Spokane Bulldogs. His performance earned West rave reviews. West got the win, improving to 10-14. He gave up 3 hits and walked 3 over 6.2 innings. He allowed no runs. Spokane's current losing streak has reached 5 games.

Cade Bruett Jr. went 1-3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI for Wauwatosa. The 18-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jeremy Hillman. It was his 33rd walk of the season.

"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Bruett Jr. told the Wauwatosa Observer.
