The Rat Hole was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Rock River Rats and Sandy Springs Spartans.

In a low-scoring contest between the Rock River Rats and the Sandy Springs Spartans, Rich Swayngim, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2061 draft, proved to be the difference. The Rock River right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Rats win. Clay Parsley converted his 7th save in 11 tries.

Joe Vincenti helped out the Rock River cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the first baseman drove in one run.

"It was a hard game, a hard night," said Sandy Springs skipper Rafael Alonso.
