Rollers Topple Shamrocks, 5-4, as Mottola Shines
|
Atlantic City beat Pacifica at Casino Grounds, escaping with a 5-4 win. The win in large part was due to designated hitter Aaron Mottola. He went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. Now 47-112, Pacifica has lost 13 in a row.
Mike Klick aided the Atlantic City cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder went 2-2 with 2 singles and 3 walks.
"I want us to come out, have fun, hit some balls, and score. We're having a tough time," said Ben Bobzien, the Pacifica manager.
