Douglas drives in 5 runs to Power Drillers Offense
The exploits of shortstop Kevin Douglas, who leads the RAA in triples with 10, helped the Beaumont Drillers defeat the Murraysville Peacocks, 9-1. Douglas was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The Drillers are now 71-87, while the Peacocks fall to 73-85.

In the bottom of the fourth, Beaumont left fielder Alan Kendrick had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Kendrick stroked a run-scoring single to left-center. It made the score 2-0, Beaumont. For the game, he went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Drillers manager Takuzo Kaneshiro.
