Rashid, Pipe Fitters Get Tidy 1-0 Win Over Clearwater
|
The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters eked out a 1-0 win versus the Clearwater Seagulls at Chapman Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Kelile Rashid. He was terrific. The Pipe Fitters have a one-game lead in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.
Rashid allowed no runs on 2 hits over 7 innings for Niagara Falls. With the win, the southpaw is 2-1 with an ERA of 3.43.
Rashid said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
