Brent Kuby was a major contributor to the 7-4 Pacifica win over Roaring River. The Shamrocks first baseman went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Dave Campbell notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 3-1. Sean Boyce picked up his 2nd save of the season.

Kuby had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 3-1 fastball from Evan Gerber, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Shamrocks a 5-4 lead. It was the 18th double of the year for Kuby.

"Just trying to keep things simple and helping the team win any way I can," Kuby told a local reporter after the game.

Despite the win, Pacifica still has a godawful 32-125 record.
