The rain came, as predicted, but the Wauwatosa Indians and Windsor Royals were able to complete their ballgame.
The Wauwatosa Indians topped the Windsor Royals, 3-0, in TML AA action at Windsor Grounds. The game was highlighted by the performance of Wauwatosa pitcher Ekagra Lolla. Lolla got the win, improving to 14-9. He gave up 4 hits and walked 2 over 7.2 innings. He allowed no runs. Kevin Walczak recorded his 23rd save for Wauwatosa.
Andrew Grogan, who leads the TAA in doubles with 47, had a direct impact on the outcome. Grogan contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Wauwatosa up, 2-0.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Lolla.
Wauwatosa now has a record of 91-64 with the win.
