Black Bears Rally to Win
The Rock River Rats got a superb performance from pitcher Joe Gentile, but the Fraser Valley Black Bears still won the game, 4-3. Gentile threw 6.2 innings allowing 1 run. With the win, the Black Bears sit at 83-72.

The decisive blow was delivered by Chris Kendrick in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Ralph Elliott to win the game for Fraser Valley. The home crowd went nuts.

"That was high adrenalin and it was fun," Kendrick said.
