In a close game at The Mandalore Complex, the Milwaukee Millers edged the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 5-4. Milwaukee center fielder Nate Chambers stood apart with his performance. He belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Milwaukee pitcher Jay Davis earned the win, hiking his record to 7-13. Bruce Hauber suffered the loss. Earning his 3rd save for Milwaukee was Ron Landerman.

Early in the game, Chambers had a 2-run home run for Milwaukee. It was his 21st home run of the season and put the Millers on top, 2-0.

Chambers told the Milwaukee Gazette: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
