The DeKalb Cornhuskers torpedoed the Evanston Bishops at The Corn Crib. The final score was 9-2, DeKalb. Kevin Kliewer went 2-for-4 for the winning team. DeKalb is in 6th place in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division with a record of 70-83.

With DeKalb leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Kliewer hit a curveball from Dan Gardner for a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Cornhuskers ahead, 3-0.
