The Evanston Bishops scored a convincing win at The Corn Crib, defeating the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 15-3. One of the hitting stars was 28-year old right fielder Tom Castro who hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Evanston, now 75-76, holds down third place in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.

Luis Matos helped out the Evanston cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the catcher went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

DeKalb manager Kinnojo Hara said: "The beauty of this game is games like this only count as one loss."
