The Evanston Bishops had to overcome a fine effort from Wauwatosa pitcher Josh Mullins to win, 4-3, at FUBU Field. Mullins went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. Symão Alegro, who went 9 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 8 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 2-2. Evanston is second in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division with a record of 90-60.

The decisive blow was delivered by Art Long in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Tom Cole to win the game for Evanston. The home crowd went nuts.
