Kelowna picked up a win at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum, bumping off the Marysville Monarchs, 4-1. Pitcher Javier Rios was a major reason the Rockets emerged victorious. Rios, now 14-11, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. The setback makes Marysville 73-76.

Kelowna took a 4-1 lead on Michael Stephens's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Stephens hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Marysville pitcher Alex Blanco visibly frustrated.
