Walsh Launches 2 Dingers, But Windsor Wins
The Windsor Royals weathered a fine game by Wichita shortstop Skylar Walsh to upend the Wolverines, 15-4, at Howling Park. Walsh belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Windsor is 91-57 and Wichita, with the loss, 57-91.

The Royals benefited from a costly error in the top of the sixth. With Paul McCartney at bat and Windsor leading 2-0, the Wichita miscue allowed Windsor to plate 1 and take the lead, 3-0.

In postgame comments to the Windsor Chronicle, McCartney said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
