Hackers Rally Late to Nip Rams
Fans watched the Silicon Valley Hackers and the Frisco Rams fight to the finish.

The Silicon Valley Hackers defeated the Frisco Rams, 4-3. Doing his part was second baseman Noah Kate, who went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Silicon Valley reliever Morgan Slowik was the winner. His record is now 5-0. Carey Leblanc took the loss.

Silicon Valley used the timely hitting of Colin Magne to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Hackers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"This was a good win," said Kate.

The 6th-place Rams now sit at 70-77.
