Thompson Goes Deep Twice, Helps Rockets Top Mustang, 10-3
Shane Thompson had a 5-RBI game, during Kelowna's 10-3 triumph over the Carson City Mustang. Thompson contributed 1 single and 2 home runs to the cause. Greg Young was the winner. He's now 15-7. The loser was 26-year old right-handed pitcher Cory Bossert. The victory gives the Rockets a record of 72-71.

With Kelowna leading 2-0 in the bottom of the first, Thompson hit a fastball from Cory Bossert for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Rockets ahead, 5-0.
