Evanston had no answer for Frisco Rams hurler Luis Ozuna, who overwhelmed Bishops hitters as the Rams coasted to victory, 9-0. Ozuna got the win, improving to 6-1. He gave up 1 hit and walked 3 over 7 innings. He allowed no runs. The second-place Bishops have lost 6 consecutive games.

Jonathan Bergendahl had a big run-scoring double for the Rams in the bottom of the third inning. With Frisco leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a cutter from 23-year old left-handed pitcher Willis Paulino and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rams ahead, 2-0.

"We had a nice day," said Frisco skipper Joe Renken.
