Extra-Inning Win by Hornets Over Ridge Runners
The Eureka Hornets handed the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners a 6-4 loss in 13 innings at Ozark Mountain Stadium. Brian Carr, who is tied for 9th in the RCL with a .405 on-base percentage, was the star on offense. He went 4-6 with a home run, 3 singles, and was hit by a pitch. The win was credited to Ian Bolin in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Jimmy LaPointe took the loss. The Hornets are now 60-50, while the Ridge Runners fall to 54-56.

Mark Bradford came through with a big-time hit for Eureka. The right fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 13th inning to give his team the lead, 6-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We didn't let this one get away," said Carr.
