Pereda Schools Pennsylvania in 3-0 Milwaukee Triumph
Francisco Pereda, who is tied for 9th in the TML in quality starts with 10, was brilliant in helping Milwaukee beat the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 3-0. The Millers improved their record to 48-62 with the win over Pennsylvania.

Pereda was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 8-6. In 8 innings of work, Pereda gave up no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 12. The Butterflies were never able to generate much offense.

"We didn't get too many good swings against Francisco," said Pennsylvania manager Aaron Barnes.
