Texans Get Past Eagle Rock, 8-7
Despite a great performance by Eagle Rock left fielder Zheng-ze Li, the Dallas Texans defeated the Ridge Runners by the score of 8-7 at Metroplex Park. Li was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Ruben Rosado, 4-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. Dallas is now 46-63, Eagle Rock 53-56.

The decisive blow was delivered by Josh Guerriero in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Jack Anthony to win the game for Dallas. The home crowd went nuts.

"This house was rockin'," Guerriero said.
