The Montreal Mounties stymied the Bloomington Blazers, 6-1, at Mount Royal Grounds. Jared Jones had a good day at the plate. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for Montreal. Matt Lopas, who went 7.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. Jones had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a full count slider from Humberto Diaz, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Mounties a 4-1 lead. It was the 24th home run of the year for Jones.
