Slumping Millers Lose 6th Straight
Mario Rodriguez did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Milwaukee Millers from being beaten, 8-6, to the Montreal Mounties at The Mandalore Complex. Rodriguez was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Matt Lopas earned the win. Danny Tavarez took the loss for Milwaukee. Eric Wilkinson earned the save, his 4th, for the Mounties.

Jared Jones came through with a big-time hit for Montreal. The first baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Jones.

The loss drops Milwaukee to 2-7.
