Home Loss Shrinks Junebugs Series Lead to 3-2
The Traverse City Beach Bums have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Loachapoka Junebugs, winning 7-1 at Loachapoka Camp Meeting today. Beach Bums right fielder Ron Friedman went 4 for 4 with a triple and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. The win cuts the deficit facing the Beach Bums to 3-2 in the best-of-7 Round 3.

The game turned with two out in the top of the sixth when Friedman, the 12th overall pick in the 2049 draft, hit a 2-run single. It propelled the Beach Bums into the lead, 3-1.

Friedman called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, November 18th , 2051 at The Royal Grounds in Traverse City.
